In February, when we were still in the final throws of winter, an idea was planted in Daubeney Primary School. What if we came together to make one street in our neighbourhood 10x Greener?
We're really keen to involve as many people as we can from the Daubeney Neighbourhood. As part of this effort, EcoActive visited Daubeney Primary school and gave all Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 pupils a succulent to look after.
Thank you to everyone who was involved in organising the giant map of the neighbourhood. Lots of ideas were added to the map, with some of the best insights coming from some of the children who stopped playing to add their own ideas.
At the community meeting on Saturday we started to list lots of ideas for making the community greener. So far 88 different ideas have been suggested:
